so, givern the recurrence and the unavailability of the little buggers, I decided to take matters on me hands...
All you need is a little edging and some rubber patches;
The patches go right inside the chromed cover; I put three of them, because they need to exert a moderate pressure onto the edgings
Screw cover back in and, you are done.
Patches are out of a tire inner tube.
