On my vacuum-accuated petcock, there is not a valve lever to turn the flow on or off. However, where the lever normally would be there is a small recessed plastic screw that can be turned with a small flathead screwdriver. I also notice the word "prime" stamped near this screw, with an indicator mark that appears to indicate the capability to open the valve. I have played with this screw and tried to figure out what it does, but it doesn't seem to do anything, even when I apply vacuum to the petcock. Anybody have a clue what this thing does? I keep the slot of the screw in the horizontal position just in case it actually does something because that was the original position it was in before I started playing with it.
