A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

On my gs750t I'm taking out the air box and installing the air filter cones. There is a hose running from top of engine to the air box which I now took out. What is this hose doing and what do I do now that I don't have the air box to plug it back into? My first time in these forums hope to find some help 😄 thanks.

That's the crank case breather hose. There are filters that you can buy to plug into it but you have to change them periodically. I believe some people run the hose into a discreetly hidden container. Would also have to be cleaned periodically. Or you can leave it off entirely and clean the top of your engine... periodically.

Take heed of the need to rejet the carbs. Best purchase a Dynojet kit or similar or get ready to pull your hair out.

I'm looking into the pods and possibly a 4 into 1 exhaust. Would that jet kit be sufficient for both those mods??

Yeah... a DJ3 kit will get you close. Personally, I'd keep the stock airbox, with a factory-replacement K&N air filter. Pods are a huge pain.

J&P Cycles has the push in style filters. just cut the hose short and stick a breather filter on and rest it on top of the engine above the carbs.

Is it a pain because it is hard to tune the bike correctly?? Or what are some other issues with them?
