I've got a GS 425 1979. I can't tell if the head is from a 450, or 425.
The reason I think it may be a 450 head is because the cams say "450" on them. Also the head has no screws next to the spark plugs that screw into the cylinder base. The clymers manual specifies that GS425's should have these screws.
This is proving to be a problem because I cant set the timing properly without knowing what type of head it is.
If it is in fact a GS450 head can it be timed correctly for the 425 cylinder?
Thanks
Brian
