A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Is this 850G headlight stock or which bike's stock is it?

I noticed that my 850G came with a newer looking headlight. The chromes were in good condition. I was baffled when I saw an yellow bulb seated inside the headlight.
Any idea which bike comes with headlight or was it a mod? The yellow light itself does not turn on and probably the bulb has to be replaced.

I can't figure out which brand that is, as there aren't any markings and the pattern on the light looks different than the ones that I'm used to seeing (common ones are made by Bosch, Cibie, and Hella, plus a million generic ones).

It's definitely aftermarket, and the second bulb is referred to as a "City Light" which is common in Europe, and people in the US sometimes install it for looks and/or practical use.

Most of the replacement h4 headlight housings can be ordered with or without the city light. I don't know of any bike that came with one stock. A lot of times the city light is an LED, so I would check to see that the wiring for it is actually connected to something before I went through the trouble of replacing the bulb (LED's rarely burn out).

Thanks.. I did see wiring at the back for the bulb..So I am going to replace the bulb and see if it works.
