A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

This message is from Danielle Hebert who is on a transcontinental trip. She had a breakdown in NY and highly recommends Jim's Service in Rochester NY.

Hi Frank,

just to update you : I found the parts at Grim Cycles on Ebay and they were shipped speedily to Rochester NY. We replaced the old with the new, fixed a number of corroded wires, gave the bike quite a bit of TLC and it's running like a dream right now.

If any of your members is broken down in Rochester or just need a great garage to go to I highly recommend Jim's Service on Norton Street in Rochester. He is incredibly competent and went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me. Contrary to quite a few service places I went to on my trip he was able to pinpoint and trouble shoot every single weakness the bike had . (such as my brake problem, I had barely any back brakes since Phoenix and no one was able or willing to make a difference until now)

I will likely head back on the road in the next day or so and continue my journey, right now we're at 9600 miles for this trip me and my Suzuki!

thanks for writing and for your help.
