I have the long Kimpex tire irons with the bend and after working on my rear tire I have to give them a failing grade.
Firstly, I ended up with an unknown number of punctures in my rear tube that took 3 patches to fix. This is due to the square edges on the ends of the bars, they should be round like a spoon.
Secondly, the material they are made out of is cast. This rough casting was tough on the edges of my rims and would ruin any painted wheels.
