A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

My Kuryakan multi-colored LED voltage gauge has died. I really liked the progressive color shift from red through yellow, then green and then back to red for ovecharge. Made it easy to see the color indications with peripheral glance. I do find the nearly $50 + S&H a bot high to replace, being a cheap old geezer. I do have a single figure LED display unit from Aerostitch but It takes me a second or two to shift my eyes from the road, change focus and then shift back to the road again. Old eyes move more slowly these days.

Is anyone aware of a similar type voltage indicator I might pick up at a more reasonable cost? I believe the Kuryakan unit has 7 or 8 separate LEDS in the array.

Check eBay. They have them for $10 to $15.

Yup, you were right although I got one at Amazon.

Very bright, easy to see the colors peripherally without having to look away from the road. By luck it fit exactly into a hole I had in my Vetter Windjammer for a guage I had gotten years back that was too weak to read the numbers. Took me about 15 min with adding the connectors and fiddling with tightening it up from behind and putting my tools and stuff away. Haven't been on the road with it yet but started up the engine and saw the voltage jump with the alternator kicking in.

Thanks and if someone else is looking for something like this, I think it's great.
