DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I had an awesome night ride last night. All by myself. I wasn't hammering but I was flickin the turns with the bike in it's powerband range at about 5.5 to 7.5 grand and makin that Kerker howl through the country side in the quiet night air. It was freakin magical. I put that new clutch hub in last night and had to test it out.

There was thunder and lightning all over the place but it never actually rained. It made for a really neat atmosphere for riding in. The GS has a really cool cracking sound as you roll on and off the throttle at that RPM range and I swear I didn?t see more than 2 or 3 cars during the entire 1.5 hour ride. I stopped only once during the ride to get fuel and even then the wind was blowing slightly and cool, lighting in the sky and some cracking of the thunder and no one else was at the service station. I felt like the lone rider. I can?t explain it I guess with words but it was awesome. One of the best rides I have had in a very long time.

I actually dreamt about it all night and was still thinking about it this morning. My wanderlust of my youth seems to be coming back as of late. This is not a good thing for a family man with young kids. But I sure am having fun. 8)

I got chills reading that. 8O Awesome ride. 8) I've been there with the nighttime ride, lightning and what not. Brought back the memory full tilt. The feeling's hard to describe in words, but you did just fine there. All I can say is thanks! :D

Every once in awhile, you connect with the bike and the surroundings for a full on experience, more powerful than the usual fun ya have on them... This may be what the old riders who proclaim "biking isn't a hobby (or a sport), it's a lifestyle" experience. They're the ones that'll also say "If you have to ask, ...you wouldn't understand."

My wanderlust never left. Staying single has a couple perks.

I know exactly what you mean Mark. My ride through an approaching hurricane and storm fronts was that kind of experience.

I know what you mean Mark! I've done the same in our canyons at night.
Listening to the 4-1 howlin' away! (Sigh)
I suggest you take several more (OK to exceed 4 in any 24 hour period) and contact us in the morning. :)
1,000's 4-ever man! 8)

Sounds like alot of fun. Wish lightning was the only thing i ran into on wens. I hit all kinds of rain going into reading to goto my night classes. Enough rain to bring 422 traffic to a 5mph crawl.
