Howdy folks,
A while ago I posted a question about a mysterious rear wheel thumping that I could figure out. Sprockets? Chain? brakes?
None of the above as it turns out.
For no particular reason, I decided to loosen the rear axle bolt and carefully check the axle's alignment. It was very slightly off.
You guessed it, after getting it dead on and re-tightening the axle bolt,
no more thumping. Man, it didn't take much to throw off the rear wheel. I'm talking just a hair's breadth off.
Anyway, it's always a great feeling to fix something so annoying.
thanks,
baz
