A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

These guys in Greece are unbelievable (http://www.nos-suzuki-parts.com/) . This is the second time I've ordered some stuff from them and their prices are pretty reasonable and parts arrive usually within 10 - 14 days. Their packaging is unbelievable. My current purchase, an NOS gas tank, was shipped in the factory box. The tank was wrapped with newspaper and extra foam to take up extra space in the box, then a layer of stiff cardboard outside the box, then 3/4" styrofoam, then a fairly thick, huge plastic bag and lots of packing tape. Pretty bomb proof. They also go by "ntinos620" on ebay.

Aw, Sandy. I was trying to keep Nitinos my own little secret ;)

I've ordered from him a few times now, and have been very impressed with how fast the goods get here. Faster than some North American sellers can do it.

OOPS, sorry. The new tank for the EFE is nice and shiny though.

Just checked out their website.

What's the best way to find parts?
How did you pay for the parts?

Thanks for the lead.

I find it easiest to use their EBay store. Paypal was my method of payment.

Their communication is good. You can email them and ask for something specific if you can't find it on their website.

So how do I find the store? Typed in nintino620 in the search for store area and came back with 0 hits. Maybe post an item from them so we can then bookmark the store???

That BigD misled you with the wrong store name 'cause he wants all the parts for himself. Greedy bugger.:D Try ntinos620

I just ordered a couple of gear shifter linkages for my 1980 GS1000S Cooley, the linkages on both of mine are in rough shape, hopefully they have them as I've looked high & low for them for more than 18 months.

I ordered the same parts and waited and waited only to get a notice via PayPal that I was getting a refund. Only trouble is I got charged by PayPal for the refund; they assessed me a fee for receiving money. The only note I got from the vendor was there was trouble with the site.

Total downer!

That's odd. I've received REFUNDS through paypal, and never had a fee assessed. If that's what they did, then another reason to hate their fee structure

Looks like I also got charged the fee, couple of bucks, not worth chasing.
I had ordered 3 and hoped to receive at least one of them but obviously they have none left, even though their website showed it as available.

The fee is probably due to the seller sending you money rather than a cancellation through EBay...it's a minor thing, but it is an annoyance. The seller should be eating any associated fees when they can't deliver the promised product
