    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Little help folks. An old member here that has been gone too long. Saturday I took Suzi ('82 GS1100GKZ) on a ride with my pastor and about 15 people including former rocker Mylon Lefevre. Anyway, about half way thru the ride, my horn button just popped out! I hadn't gone 50 feet and the spring followed it. I couldn't very well stop everyone in the middle of a turn. Can the button be replaced from another old unit or do you have to buy another control cluster? Some don't use it much but I really try to keep folks off me in traffic. Thanks for all the input in advance, I'll check back tomorrow...

I see left handle switches on Ebay all the time. As a matter of fact I just sold one.

You can get the horn button, contact and spring right from Suzuki. All three are probably under $10. Check Bike Bandit or other online parts fiche.

...well that'll learn ya to play wif ya horn while riding behind a man of God

worn button ears?

worn button ears?

Is the housing cracked at the horn side?? if not then the ears on the horn button have gone bad and grown weak.. and the vibration give it the go ahead and it went.. if the housing is cracked then you are looking at about $65 from $uzuki.. ( I priced one for just the housing) it includes everything.. housing is not available by its lonesome..

btw I have one from a 79-80 550 that may work send me an email

(If it is not violating anything) at joep.dey@gmail.com

You can order any and all parts you need for the cluster from Bikebandit.com

You got to ride with Mylon! It's a BIG WORLD man! If you ever see him again, give him a brotherly hug from me. I have all his works and followed everything he and the broken heart did over the years. Takes me back man.

Where was this ride if I may ask?
