Ordered a the following for my 77-79 gs750 engine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/232001009946 (77-79 Suzuki GS750 Barnett Complete Clutch Kit with OEM Gasket- Kevlar)
Kit came with 8 friction and 8 steel plates. My Haynes manual shows 8 friction and only 7 steels are needed. When I took the clutch apart, there were 8 friction and 7 steels.
Whats the correct number of friction and steels needed? Does the 8th steel plate go in between the last friction plate and the clutch plate? Or did I pay for an extra unneeded part?
