An OEM or OEM replacement petcock can flow far more fuel than even a very heavily modified GS engine can use.
Your petcock is over 30 years old and it does not work correctly, and it will not work correctly. The only proven path forward is to replace the petcock with a new one that works as designed. Rebuild kits do not work. Hillbilly workarounds do not work.

Maybe so but by the time you get to 1166 cc it will fuel starve.
Take that back, stock 1100e/pods/pipe/0.340 cam got starvation in hard pull around 120 mph (closed circuit testing)
