A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I got out today for a nice little 100 miler in the high country. Up Lefthand Canyon, down to Nederland for coffee, a quick side trip up to the ski resort, then down Coal Creek Canyon and back home on back roads.

Aspens are just starting to turn and the high country is looking spectacular. Fall colors should be at their best in another week or two. We should do our our GSR Fall Colors ride soon!

The day's casualties included the usual Hardleys and slow cars, and also an R1 of all things. The guy did NOT know how to ride that bike! He looked seriously lame in the corners. Maybe it's his first bike, just a nice little starter until he can save up for a Harley

Anyway, was a nice afternoon! :D

Best that the guy not try to keep up with you on your GS then, Debby, whether he's on an R1, or not!

BTW, I think my wife and I will be heading up to Trail Ridge on the GS750 tomorrow before the weather shuts down the road for the season.

Well my wife and I got as far as the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park.......but the entrance fee is now $10 per person! 8O We thought that $20 was a bit pricey for a short ride up to the continental divide and back so we headed over to Allenspark, the Peak-to-Peak and Nederland, before bimbling down Boulder Canyon to home. The aspens look great, and should be at their peak colors over the next 2 weeks or so. I am hoping that my wife awards me a medal for restrained riding for almost 110 miles, thus allowing her to take in the scenery in a civilized fshion. :D

Glad you had a nice ride! :) I'm sure it's beautiful!
I'm there in spirit. :)

$10 a person!! highway robbery!! it's only something like $15 for a vehicle with twenty people~
