Hi.
I have had the petcock off of my 1980 GS1100E trying to find a reason it will flow fuel to the engine on prime. The recessed plastic actuator turns freely. The petcock internals are clean. I do not see a way to take this piece apart and my service manual does not cover this. Any suggestions on tackling this would be appreciated.
I am still waiting on new OEM pilot and main jets so I have had time to look after some of the finer aspects of returning my vintage bike to the road.
