DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well.. with years comes wisdom. I geuss i can look into buying a bike does anyone know of some one who is selling one

What happened to the 600? Haven't even rode it and already looking for a new bike, kids now days..... LOL

What state are you in? I know of two that are for sale right now near me. One is a small tire Kaw. Freshly rebuilt. N2O w/ Schnitz controller. Bike has not really been tested yet (previous owners project that was not finished). Guess this is a mid 9 second bike without the nitrous.

The other is a GS car tire w/ lockup. Guy is selling the starter cart, bike, riding gear, trailer. I have seen this bike run 8.60s with a big rider. They rebuilt the motor last summer and it slowed down to the 8.90s. I think the owner ran into $$$ problems.

Not sure on the price, but if your interested I can put you in touch with them.

what happend to the 600?

what happend to the 600?

i bought the 1993 gsx 600 f to swap the front end to my 81 650gs but im not sure if that is even posible? ive searched this site and learned you can swap a 90's 750-100 style gsxr front end to a 750-1000 GS but is my swap posible? and also is it posible for me to run the gsxf rear on my axle?

After much consideration i have decided to buy a bike. im going to wait to april and buy a hayabusa or gsx 750 or 1000 with an air clutch and street size tire. that way if i do not like the sport i can sell it as a street bike or ride it.
secondly i would like to race my gs650 at a local ICE drag event yes ice like on a frozen lake (I live in wisconsin to answer previous ?)
I figure it would be inexpensive and it would help me get experience and would be much fun. it would also help me out with a posible sponsor
who said he may sponser me if i do ama drag bike but he would like to see me race first not to see if i would win just to see if im comited

thank for feed back once again

by the way to all the senior member answering my questions. im sorry. i did search the page first. and here is a pic of my 650

i bought it with 4,537 original miles for $300 it was in a barn and the guy pulled it out of the barn and with a new batery and i little starting fluid it started right up but only ran on two cylinders so i pulled the tank lol pluged the coil pack back in and drove it home... i had little money this summer so it was my main form of transportation until the end of summer came and would you geuss what i now have only 11.95 volts of charge but i have visited the stator pages and it on the road to rehabilatation and mabye some racing but mainly my rider it looks way difrent now new pics soon to come

If you really want to build, I know of a big tire chassis with all Beasley bodywork. No motor or wheels - set up for 8.20's GS11. Comes from a former VHR crew guy. it's good stuff
