I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

and I know that I'm a "new guy" but I don't want to hear, "stay with the stock size" and "the tire will pinch because of the width of the rear rim".......I just want to know what is the widest tire that will fit in the rear swingarm.....forums are for questions/answers....please answer my question and don't throw your "expertise" around to try and make me look bad! If I have to I will just measure the width of my swingarm.....simply trying to get a good answer.![]()
Unless you go with the right size wheel for the tire you're going to hear it. You could probably get a 140 in it but you'll need at least at least a 3" wheel but 3.5" would be better. If your stock size is a 110 the most you should put on the stock wheel is a 120.and I know that I'm a "new guy" but I don't want to hear, "stay with the stock size" and "the tire will pinch because of the width of the rear rim".......I just want to know what is the widest tire that will fit in the rear swingarm.....forums are for questions/answers....please answer my question and don't throw your "expertise" around to try and make me look bad! I didn't mean to come across so brash.....I have the opportunity to get wider wheels for my bike from a custom shop that is doing a good deal for me. I just need to know how wide I could go to still fit this swingarm. If I keep the OEM rear wheel I will definately stay with 120/90-18.
I need to know what is the maximum wheel/tire width to fit this bike. I should have been more precise in my question. I hope I didn't strike a "bad" nerve with any of you.....thanks for your help thus far.

I had a katana rim with a 140 in a 550 swingarm. Fits fine within the swinger, but you will need to bend the brake arm.
what year Katana rim was it? I have a bunch of those that I've been looking at.......
I actually think I can keep the stock rear swingarm on it and fit the 3.5 inch Katana wheel in there just by bending the brake caliper brace......will this work?
