Replacement of Wheel Bearing / Spedo cable and Speedo gear on my 81 750L what fits?

Hey Guys I've run into a bit of a problem on my 81 GS750L (21000 miles).
Well this season I decided that I wanted to run a twin disc setup on my chain driven GS(X)750L for I'd rather it stop almost as fast as it's accelerates. So I installed a twin stopper setup from a GS1100 and as brakes go it works great! Stops smother and quicker then before now!
But as I had to remove the front wheel to do the job I now see that some of the 30 year old bits need some replacing. Well right off the bat my speedometer cable broke and crumbled apart after I removed it from it's constant position it held for the life of the bike. Also the speedo gear I pulled off the bike had many metal shards and burnt grease caked up inside of it and I could barley turn it by hand when I went to inspect it. the conclusion I came to was it needs replacement. I also inspected the wheel bearings and they don't spin very freely. They catch on themselves a bit and spin pretty hard but there is no play in the bearing, however I would like to replace those guys too. I'd also like to replace that front axle as well for piece of mind. The problem I'm running into is finding these parts. I can't find any of the parts I need that directly fit a 81 GS750L. Is there parts that i could use that would come from another bike? Like a GS1100 or some other GS model of that era? I would really like to gt these parts ordered and in the mail ASAP so was curious if you could generously point me in the right direction?
Any insight would be great guys! You've always been super helpful in the past!
Thanks

Front Axle Part# 54711-49000

Speedo Gearbox Part# 54600-49100

Wheel bearings X 2 Part# 08123-63027

All from your local Suzuki dealership

OE wheel bearings are expensive, and over priced. I'm not usually a fan of aftermarket parts but All Ball's sells wheel bearing kits that are decent quality and about 1/4 the price of OE (check Z1 Enterprises).

The axle should not need to be changed unless it's damaged and the speedo gearbox may be serviceable to save money. You make the call but I'd pull it apart before buy what I'm sure will be an expensive part.

Thanks guys!
I happened to stumble upon a Speedo gear and cable for my bike in much better shape then the one I have to be had for only $30 shipped... Got to love ebay!
I did come across bearings "better then OEM" for my bike with the parts number you gave me Don. I couldn't find Suzuki bearings but the ones I found we $30 shipped too.
The front axle is in decent shape so I'll keep it, there hard to come across anyway.
Thanks again guys! you've been most helpful!
