If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

So far this is the best tire I have ever used.
9/32 tread new
after 2815 miles – 2/32 worn, 7/32 left
All riding so far has been 2 up with loaded saddle& Tank bags
projected mileage = 12,500+ miles
ZR1100 Zepher rear tire size = 170/60-17

This tire is also offered in other sizes also.

I bought the Shinko R230's for my KZ but have not installed them yet.

What kind of bike and what is the rear wheel width?

A GS bike can not use a tire like that unless extensive mods are done first.

Is the 2/32 tread wear or what's left of the original 9/32? Passible wear depth is 1/32 before they would fail a safety inspection or show wear bars.
That would be 75% worn if I read your numbers correctly and maybe only 4k miles projected total expected life.

that would be on his ZN1100 Zepher

not everyone here just has GS's many have other bikes as well.

I hope it is not down to 2/32nd after just 2K miles!

Sorry I did not write that well, but I corrected it.

Sad to say they do not have the correct size for my front - at least yet.

Mileage update:
Installed on Kawasaki ZR1100 on 4/16/2009
This is the longest lasting tire I have ever owned and she grips like glue.

9/32 tread new
2815 miles ? 7/32 left
7380 miles ? 4/32 left

Projected mileage = 13,200+ miles
