A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Rock On

The songs that "rock" in my head are...Bon Jovi "Wanted: Dead or Alive" and Ozzy doing "Crazy Train". I get mello when I hear the theme to Bonaza or Andy Griffith

I was thinking "Bad Motor Scooter", then "Highway Star", but some other folks chirped up first...

"Cities On Flame" or "Hot Rails To Hell" by Blue Oyster Cult.
"Superunknown", "Slaves And Bulldozers", or "Power Trip" by Soundgarden.
Those capture the vigor of big-block GS's doing The Business.

If anyone can relate, then you know how badly I am dating myself...

Please don't make fun of me but I'm sorta into country. My road song is Eddie Rabbit's song "Drivin' my life away".

That was my wife's song when she drove cab!

judas priest (screaming for vengeance and you got another thing coming)

Stevie Ray Vaughn doing Pride and Joy

My S model is my pride and joy, and I get a good rythm in the corners

Ted

Now there is some good tunes 8)

I don't really listen to this stuff anymore but in my youth and specifically at the time I was 17 and riding my Turbo one of the songs that moved me the most was "Run To The Hills" by Iron Maiden.

Still today, I get completely covered with goose bumps when I hear it played.

Couple that with the fact that one of my all time favorite movies it "Spirit Stallion of the Cimmeron" and you should get a small picture of one of Hoom's peeves.

I believe it was said best by Mel Gibson at the end of "Brave Heart" when they gave him his last chance to repent of his ways in order to receive a quick and painless death and he replies by bellering out the word "FREEDOM!!!!!"

It all comes together, at least in my mind :?

Please don't make fun of me here. This is not common for me.

Yesterday I went to my Bro's B-day and we were at Moms. My sisters and nieces were looking thru old scrap books. I started remembering old songs my older siblings used to listen to (me as well as the little one hanging out).

Anyway, so on my way home last night this damn song pops in my head and I couldn't get rid of it.

Elton John "Tiny Dancer".

Usually I'm a Zeppelin kinda guy. Or Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, U2 etc....

I'd have to say "back on the road again" by REO Speedwagon but if I'm riding for a long period of time it would be, dark side of the moon album or I robot album

On a cruise? Black Label Society's "Way Beyond Empty". In the city, i think maybe "No More Tears" or "I dont want to change the world" both by Ozzy.

Has anyone said "Born to be Wild"? ...Just watched "Easy Rider" again... Cant wait for the spring!

Thank GOD I'm back to normal.

This morning on the way in it was Rush - "Working Man".

Wheeewwww. Thought I was going Homo or something. :? :? 8O 8O

Hey, nuthin' wrong with "Sir Elton." He's put out some great stuff. 8) Not a great pick for a Harley 100th Anniversary rally though....
I had some friends that went to that and they left as soon as he got on stage. Not because they didn't like him, they were afraid of getting caught up in some sort of riot. 8O

Deep Purple-Smoke on The Water. Or Warren Zevon, Lawyers, Guns, and Money. Or anything by the Rolling Stones.

I don't listen to any of this stuff anymore, but it still runs through my head at times, usually when I'm having fun.
