A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I bought some carb kits and a brake master cylinder kit from them.
I was surprised at how fast they shipped them, i am in Australia and i got the kits within 10 days.
I bought some items off ebay, and some off the website and they shipped them altogether.
I havent rebuilt the carbs yet, but they look to be the correct kits.
Anyway, hope this helps someone.

Landshark, I have used these guys on numerous occasions and have had excellent results as well. They are a bit more expensive than others, but they always have the part i need in stock.
I try to support local business and Sirius is about a 90 minute ride for me.
No shipping charges are a good thing!

They are in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. (My hometown!) They also sell quite a bit on eBay.

Was in Cambridge last week so I went there with a shopping list of parts needed for various bikes I am 'reviving'. A '75 Honda GL1000, an '80 Honda CB750F, and 2 1982 GS1100G's.

Sitting in front of the parts counter was a pile of new front brake lines - just so happens they are for the 1975 GL1000. Fancy that.

VERY helpful gent behind the counter, and I could see a fella tinkering on a workstand with a mint 1973 Honda CR125 - I think this business is fairly serious about catering to the 'old bike crowd' as they have lots of good stock, are well organized, and sahre info and sources willingly.

They had everything I needed. Ever find GS1100G OEM front brake levers for $5 or OEM valve cover gaskets for $10? Me neither, so I bought several, plus stator cover gaskets. They have a very decent stock of old gaskets, carb kits and NOS Suzi parts. Their website is great and prices are indicated.

I will definitely be ordering from them in the future.:)

I'm approaching brake rebuild time... good to know this info! And good to see they ship to Australia in good time too landshark!

Use your original jets if possible. Or at least verify the sizes. Some kits do not have the mixture screws too...

I put in a stage 3 Dynajet at the same time and so far so good with everything in the carb kits, of course i put in the O-ring kit from Mr Barr as well.

I havent bought anything from then since, but definitely will in the future.

Pete, the shipping was much quicker than some of the others i have used.
