A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I just ordered me a set of saddle bags from these guys. they are Firstgear Silverstone Saddlebags. They were dirt cheap. Shipping wasn't bad either. As soon as they get hear I will let you all know how they are and how long the shipping took. Heres a link to the bags I bought.

Well I got an e-mail from them monday stating they they were out of stock and that they had cancelled my order. I got on their website the next day to find that they were still for sale but at a price of 134.99 instead of the 69.00 price they had advertised the day I bought mine.

I'm thinking that they weren't out of stock but that someone had screwed up on the pricing. I wont try to order anything else from this company.

I would have called to see if they were in stock after I received that email. They don't say out of stock when I was checking them out of course didn't give them my credit card info so never went through. Make a complaint maybe if you complain enough they will give them to you for that price. Squeaky wheel gets oiled.

That seems to be standard practice for a lot of internet companies now. One store will price match and and give you a coupon for 5% or if they can't match it the will give you a coupon for 10%. Had them price match a set of tires and then they wanted to sell the tubes on a different order. I would have to pay a ridiculous amount of shipping that was way more than the offset of the price match was. Told them to keep the tubes I will get them locally and I am still waiting for my 5% off coupon.

Total jerks! I'd definitely do some complaining. But that new price is right up there with the price I paid for my Cortech one.
