A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hey there folks, I've been pretty busy with work, well, with the bike too, and haven't been on the forums as of late. Here are some pics of my latest upgrade/modification to my GS1100E, short stalk turn signals.

I found a vendor that sells OEM knock off turn signals and bought four pairs, two for my GS1100E and two for my Katana 1000. I asked about the quality, fit and finish before buying them and was assured that they were similar in quality to the OEM turn signals and fit just the same. The vendor has both the long stalk signals and the short stalk, which was stock in the front on 1982 and 1983 Katanas.

I received the signals just before last weekend and installed them yesterday. I think that they look great. The signal body is moved in about 2 to 2 1/2 inches and really flows with the bike much better while still looking stock and like they were meant to be on the bike.

I thought I'd post some pictures in case anyone else is interested in doing the same thing. The vendor is on Ebay under user name cyclepartsdirect with a 99.8 % positive feedback rating on just under 5,300 transactions. I purchased mine off of Ebay at a discounted rate of $24.00 a pair. On Ebay the vendor starts the price of the turn signals at $29.95 a pair.

I can give another thumbs up to this vendor. He/She and I dealt outside of ebay; I needed to buy two sets of turn signals (front and rear). I bought the round chrome ones marketed as the 1100L model. Shipping was quick and the signals feel like great quality. I can't wait until I get to the point where I can mount them!

Sign me up ! That looks nice. Not a huge fan of 4 into 1 but those pics are gonna change my mind. Hey Tornado, Got your pipe yet ?
