A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Maybe it's an omen, maybe it's the fact that my a/c is out and my computer doesn't like it, but this will be the third time I've tried to start this thread today. I finally got my bike back together and took some pix of the new paint scheme. I wanted to bring the latino cultures "day of the dead" north, and kind of pay tribute to Tim Burton's animated works, so the artwork remains close to the cartoonish aspect of both. The gas tank has a skeleton chef ready to fry a skeleton fish in a fry pan, the side covers are a skull artiste, with a beret, a hand rolled cigarillo, and a goof painting, and on the other side is a skull representation of the theatrical idea of pathos and eros. As for the front fender, the frontmost skull has swirly red in its eye sockets, and behind it, a devil skull and angel skull, with a host of others fading to black. Hope this works, and hope y'all like it. Oh, and the heart in the back behind the seat is wrapped by barbed wire.

Man Pauly that is really really nice work! I wish I could paint like that. Hell i wish i could paint solid colours for that matter... I need to get my 1100G touched up. The scar on the tank is really really bothering me now that ive started getting it all polished up and shiney...

very nice. i feel like i should be sending you my helmet to wear cause it'd match pretty good! :D

Came out great... I didnt have as much luck with my tank painting and had to go to brush for the graphics. Guess it will do till the winter and maybe I can invest in some air brushes.

Skateguy, if you don't plan on any really intricate graphics with fine lines, go to Harbor freight and get one of their cheapy ones for under 20 bucks. I know a couple of tee shirt artists that use and abuse these because they're cheap enuff to be disposable.

Thanks, come winter I will probably look for some more advise... my "paint" will do till then as my oring kit came in and the bike is on the road again and runs pretty nice.

I love the tank but the skulls on the fender are my favorite.
