Yeah, Web Cams for the GS1100 start at 0.348" and go up from there, all the way to 0.410" I think.

A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.
A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I didn't see the .340" on the APE page, they may be available elsewhere, or I might have missed them. .340" would actually probably be better for me. Not sure what I'm gonna bore it to, but doubt I'll go new sleeves, so I think 1168 is the max. I'm still doing my research on this bike.
Hijack over.
I looked up an 83 750 at bb and there is NO tach drive. Are you sure its an 83? How many bolts on the valve cover?look up the micrfiche
1100 cam gears won't work, different number of teeth.mine is a 83 750 ed, im not new to rebuilding motors,or timing stuff, ,but its nice to know from ppl that have dont it first hand, and what works,so theres no guess work
the stock cams i have are great, bike screams , but i would like the rumble, of a performance cam,and some more power everywhere
will the 1100 cam gears work or use 750 gears?, i dont know the sizes ,or distance from cam to crank stuff
Aftermarket cams have the tach drive built into them, so they can work with mechanical or electronic tachs. The '83 1100 had a mechanical tach drive, but the '83 and up 750's were electronic. By the way, '80-82 and 83 & up engines are very different, not much swaps between them.**** i dunno
my bike is stock 83 750ed
i looked at the fiche i dont know where i seen it at:-s, i see it on the 1100,and was told there drop in, and tach would work, so now i have no need for the 1100 cams i guess
i will buy new race cams if all else
when i got the bike i had a few probs with the tach acting up n didnt see the inlet but there is a cable from the tachometer, not a wire
at first i thought it was electronic the way it was messing with me
i havent even messed with it yet but i was positive it was regular drive![]()
700 cams are different than 750... If you put 700 pistons on your 750 crank with 700 cams that'll boost compression and give you more power....
My 700 might be for sale soon... I see you're in Illinois....
