A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello,

Today I am trying to find usable SH775A. I come from Poland in europe or polish polaris dealer they want to charge me almost 1000 in my money(PLN) for SH775 r/r which is obviously more than 2/3 of my month salary(it also applies for roadstercycle offer, WAY TOO MUCH FOR ME, bruh I live in a 3rd world country). Sorry but it is unaffordable for me. So I am trying to look where I can get used one or get the genuine cheaper than dealer charges. But actually on ebay nobody lists that R/R as Sh775a when I try to find it that way I see a lot of suspicious units there.

I have found those ones but I am no so sure... Even with tax pays in my country(package from USA, so they charge) it would be affordable:

If those are genuine then which one I should take I dunno...

In case everybody has that R/R for more than 500 in my money I am going to install FH012AA(I can buy it for 175PLN) and change stators some time when I would need to. I don't have any solution so far. SH572A is way to small for old GSX 400 F. With that R/R I have undercharged battery after riding and charging voltage is 13V? Stator output is 93.4V on each phase I spent literally 2 days dismantling that piece of work and found no short in electrical wiring. I have no current flow with key turned off and still after a week I can't crank engine- battery flat. I have underrated fuse 7.5A which isn't burnt after 1.5 seasons ridden so there is no short, every connection is OK and I have undercharging going on. Won't use stock R/R it destroys stators very fast(asymetrical load). I guess I just need solid R/R.

If anybody can track it in any shop that sends internationally and accepts payment by credit card, thanks for info.

There is a manufacturer in Croatia that makes Series R/Rs.

Regleri: No promises here as I can't even read the website, but apparently this company in Croatia makes series R/R's. The schematics of the SCR's on the packages make it appear as if they are opening the circuits and are in fact SERIES v.s. SHUNT. They do specifically list one SHUNT R/R .

Apparently it is a combination(SERIES then SHUNT R/R) , SERIES at low speed when voltages and timing are slower and goes to SHUNT at high speed presumably because it cant manage SERIES over 8K RPM.

You might give them a try if they are a lot cheaper.

If not do as Tom says and find a used on on ebay.

Agree, get a used one. Just message the seller and have them confirm it has SH775 printed on the top fin. The FH series of R/R's have a similar footprint so it's important to confirm you get a real SH unit before purchase.
