DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello, I have a dude, my motorbike has the plastics and the gas tank of a GSX 1100 ET, but the number of the engine it?s GS110X-115357 it?s this number from a ET model or it?s other model??

I ask this, because I bought a complete gasket set for a GSX1100ET, and there are some which don?t can use.

Thank you, I?m sorry for my english, I?m Spanish.

Have a look at the headstock (the bit of frame at the front) which the yokes/tripple tree's fit to. On there should be a frame number.

Most of the records I know of work on frame number.

Suzuki mad.

I have to forget the frame number... when I buy the bike, I have to re-write again the frame number (don?t appear). I think, the bike, long time ago, before I buy, it has a big accident and somebody change the engine. This it?s the reason that I want to know to which model it?s the engine.

Thanks for asnwer.

your local suzuki dealer should be able to tell you your model from the number you give him
i think originally both the frame and the engine numbers correspond but if someone changed the engine then you need to make sure you buy parts for that particular engine
(for example, my bike is a gt ('80) but the engine is a year younger, it's a gx ('81))

also, if you can find a manual for 1100 - you can ask here at the site - the manual should have the info on numbers corresponding to models/years

It?s not possible, why??.. very easy, Suzuki, don?t be in Spain till 1984, then my bike I think it?s from 1982, then when I went to "Suzuki Espa?a", I give to they the frame number, or the engine number, they introduce the numbers in the computer and don?t appear nothing. My bike, arrive to Spain by Ceuta, not directly to Spain.
Then in Spain there are not parts for buy and not information for this bike. I have always have to buy all parts by ebay. Normally in Germany or UK.

Thanks for answer

i can relate to that... i used to live in croatia and had a 1980 yamaha xs750 (triple), it was a real mission to get information or parts, but luckily germany's not far away and i could always find there what i needed...

try contacting "jethro" on this site, i think he's got a few manuals for 1100
good luck

Gasket sets are almost always "multifits" i.e. they include the gasket to cover several varients, as long as you have the gaskets you nned covered just discard the rest.
