A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

is the issue one on the bolts on the float bowl? if it is then the hole size is 5mm ;). it's that is knackered... (damaged) then simply use a tap (not the water kind, but the kind that cuts threads in a hole) to make it a 6mm and thus working again :)

alright. took carbs off again and got that leak taken care off, but now i'm leaking out of the pod (no air box filter, individuals) which it wasn't doing before...would did i do something to the float, that's what would cause that right?

little bit more detail...the bike is already warm. i have to put it on choke to start it up and even then it will take a few seconds. once it does i have to keep it open for a bit or else it will just die. after it warms up it runs just fine. once i shut it off it takes about 45 seconds or so and it will start leaking out of the pod, but only that one and again it didn't before. it will leak for about a minute maybe only about half a tablespoon or so then it will stop. try to start it back up again have to put it back on choke and repeat the process

also i really don't want to take the carbs off again. if it is the floats, and i'm pretty sure it is cus i was curious and screwed around with that, am i able to adjust it while it's still on the bike? or will that just make it even more difficult

alright it was the bowl, it's not leaking anymore. however now i can't get it to start. one problem after another.

yay it's all fixed. bike is running better then ever. no gas leak the only problem is the fuel gauge wire broke so i need to replace that but that's no biggie. yay i'm so excited that i got it fixed before college :D:D:D:D
