A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

www.newenough.com

I ordered two helmets, two pairs of gloves, and two mesh jackets from them in three seperate orders. The longest it took was 3 days from order, and one of them showed up the next day! Took the wife down to the motorcycle safety class this weekend and she loved the gear and the class. So now I get to buy her a bike. Thanks NewEnough8-[

Oh, and I liked my gear too. Another guy had the same jacket and paid 50% more at the dealer. He wasn't happy.

I've gotten gloves, one jacket and one pair of pants from them. I don't think I've ever dealt with a business that was any quicker or more helpful, except my own local auto mechanic.

And is it just me, or is Megan on the website really f***in' cute?

It isn't just you.....................

seam ripper

seam ripper

I didn't see an answer to the question about whether a seam ripper will leave big visible holes if you pull off a patch - I'm going to buy one of the US Army jackets, but remove the Army patch. (not unpatriotic, i was just never in the Army, so it doesn't seem right to wear it)

Also, does anyone have a link to their ebay store?

i (not having the jacket or knowing what material it is made from) would say that if the material is a fabric, you can generally smooth out the holes so that they are often no longer visible, but only if you do this sooner rather than later, especially before the item goes through the wash, but if the material is leather, you will see some holes for sure after using a ripper.

oh and not sure what type of army jacket you're talking about, but if you're looking for the new ACU, the old Woodland or desert style, or any other type (some even have the new air force ABU tiger stripe pattern) be sure to check out the surplus and new item sites.

police and military oriented:
http://www.galls.com
http://www.uscav.com

more geared toward surplus:
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com (they have lots of foreign stuff)
http://www.sportsmansguide.com

you will find all the jackets you could ever imagine. the geared toward surplus sites even come across some of those old bomber style jackets (a1 i believe?) every once in a while.
