salty_monk and I recently completed a transaction where I bought a couple of pairs of new to me boots. I have to say he was helpful, truthful, informative, friendly, accommodating in arranging the shipping, and just seems to be an all around nice guy.

I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone else if you see something he's offering. I'm sure you'll be able to work something out that helps both.

He's sorting me out with a tank for my 1100, when he's finished using it

I've bought from him twice in the past. He's always quick to return a PM, and shipped right on time. I haven't had an easier transaction yet. I forgot about this forum or would have posted much sooner. Super stand up guy.

Dan's definitely a straight shooter -- he's no uphill gardener, either. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Is he one of those guys that says whilst instead of while? At any rate, he's obviously well-respected and trustworthy.

Only when it's grammatically correct to do so...

Never bought anything from him but I did have lunch with him once. His selection of the restaurant was impeccable.

Highly advise having lunch with him.
