    Shim club

Not sure if I am posting in the proper forum so excuse me if I'm wrong.

But has anyone had any contact lately with Ray of the shim club?

I have PM'd him twice during the last couple of weeks but have not gotten any response. Just wondering if he is still running it since I have a few to send to him and maybe even get a couple back from the club.

Anyway, just wanted to know if anyone has had any contact with him.

    Thanks
    Larry

I had some a few years back & he was already slowing down with what he wanted to do. It was a great service whilst it lasted! The piece of machinery he has for cutting the shims down is not a common one unfortunately...

Thanks Norm,. The sizes I need would be 2.60, 2.55, 2.45 and 2.30.
If you don't have this, it's no big deal. I can always just get them from Z-1 I think it is.

If I need a shim, I can usually take a 20 minute ride down to the 'hood to Cycle Recycle II here in Indy and pick up what I need.

Brian, that's a bit of a drive for me.

I just checked partsfish at my local dealership and the prices for shims listed was $17 as a highest price, $16.37 for the lowest price. Holy crap..............................

edit: ebay prices are just under $10

Larry I have all the shims you need. I'll get them in the mail asap. Text me your address again in case I can't find it in my phone. 👍

sorry I didn't get them sent earlier...

It would be nice to know if Ray is okay, and still serving the GS community. Anyone know?

That's what I was wondering but all I got was the sound of crickets. He has been logged in a few times since I first posted this thread.
I thought maybe if he was done with it, he could have at least stated that. Oh well..........
