Moved some stuff from the storage unit to my new shed at home..Now i was justb looking at houses for rent in the Killeen / Temple / Belton Texas area.. I think i am finally ready to sell my 35 acres and move on.. Too much to get into here, but lets just say that i have basically had enough of my little brother, the cold, and all the disfunctionality of my family. I just want to have peace, tranquility and good friends and people i can trust and love without having to be looking over my shoulder all the time to see whose stabbing me in the back.

      This was actually Sunday night.
Ray came over & helped me get my carbs synced in. Then I back ground some valves from a GSX-R head he's working on.

Should be good for a few more CFM.

        snowthrower

5HP Techumseh on two stage snowthrower.

Replaced the muffler with new one I got last winter. Had been kinda loud at 6am. Now see that maybe all I needed was the gasket, but replaced the muffler too. I suppose after 23 years it can have a new one.

And my annaul check to verify that the augers are not rusted to the drive. If they are and then hit something, like chuck of ice or something, then the shearbolts dont break but the gear box does (do you think I am just guessing). Remove the shear bolts and check to see that the augers spin on the drive, maybe lubricate that if needed.

        Found shear bolt deformed.

Not so much today but what I did the entire four days:

Repaired a plugged toilet in my boys' bathroom (found tweezers and a pencil stuck in the toilet itself)
              Removed rear wheel
              Removed rear shocks
              Removed chain and sprockets
Cleaned sprocket and clutch covers; will get some aircraft stripper this week so I can paint them soon.
Put a new door back on a kitchen cabinet
Removed and put back on the fan blades on the kitchen light so the missus could clean them
Half repaired a wire in the fence surrounding one of my horse's stall (got too dark so will finish it probably tomorrow)

Prepared the work area (garage) for the winter's joys (repairing/updating bikes). One entire wall is pegboard with all the hooks n stuff. Reorganized the entire wall, using the 5 year rule - If I have not even thought of it for 5 years (or don't even know what the blazes it is) it went away. Grouped according to category - all electrical together, tapes together, garden together, etc. Completely revamped workbench. Bottom shelf totally reorganized so it can accomodate newly-acquired toaster oven, seldom-used power tools to the back, etc. Floor space reorganized to accomodate 2 active motorcycles, air compressor is now semi-permanent since I installed a ceiling-mounted retractable hose reel this weekend. Picked up another shop light (fluorescent 4 ft.) so the whole garage will have decent light. Picked up a Li-Ion cordless drill since my Craftsman "Professional" took a dump this week.

I pulled the carbs, intake and airbox on the 650 today in prep to R&R the intake and fuel system.

Well, I got the carbs put back together on the Seca Turbo, pulled the turbo for a through cleaning, inspection, and disabled the waste gate. Also got the body panels removed and ready to haul the bike to the car wash for a good pressure washing.
