And the next speed tag is 10mph...

Or an old style pay phone if you want a new tag...

Note: I switched to Flickr because of all the issues with Photobucket, and am still learning their process.Last edited by Guest; 05-10-2017, 04:12 PM.

Sad to say, but many of my tags were from later then that, hence the crappy night shots. Free time for me is neither free or easy, but a late night ride is nice....

Nope. I was too busy with working 8 hours a day and going to MMI 5 hours a night. I still played now and then on the weekend and during the week if it was a tag I could get on the way to MMI or on the way home. We were getting out at 11:30 at night, so tags were a little difficult to get.

That fire station thing could be fun too. Did you ever run with it?Originally posted by gsrick View PostI had a similar idea about a couple years ago to spice up the game a little. One was to use fire station numbers and the other was street and avenue numbers. Your only going to go so far with the progressive speed limit signs unless you carry a spray can and a look out.
Just for example, not a tag unless there is a GS hiding in there somewhere.

New tag, 5mph speed limit sign (or kph if you please[do they even bother putting that on the signs?]). No pressure to pick another speed sign in sequence, as it is totally up to the new tag poster to choose what it will be. Just thought it might be fun to see how many we can get. I looked around for an hour and it may not be as easy as one thinks.

There's a national guard armory here with a bunch of military trucks.

That dragon is great!
Yeah, haven't met many others with this name. Oddly enough there are four at my church of a few hundred. What are the odds of that, oh wait 150 to 1. Not rocket science, lol.

If you can see, this dragon was made of things like children's toys and Christmas decorations. As far as the progressive tag idea I'm all for it. Just start it and I for one would work on it. And it's good to see another Roger, there are not many of us out there.

So the next tag is an Military truck. (Hope it hasn't been done recently)

Yay! It's always fun seeing a new tag pop up.
Boy, that Giraffe looks like a real piece of work and the CBX is such a cool looking bike. I've never seen one in person but hope to go to the Transportation Museum Museum in Denver later this year where I can for sure lay eyes on one. I'll bet it sounds awesome too.
I actually went and got a pic for the chocolate shop tag but had a thought for the new tag I wanted to share. Earlier in this thread a member mentioned a progressive tag like speed limit signs. Unless that was a dream and I'm imagining it, in any case what do you think? Starting at say 5mph or whatever unit of measure used in your locality. Then as many in succession as possible on up to the safest attainable 75mph?
One member could get as many as possible then post all of them and feasibly be done in a couple of posts, or each member grab one, and someone else the next and so forth.
What do you all think?

Lousy weather so far this Spring has curtailed the riding so when i am out don't feel much like stopping for photos.
Anyhoo, my excuse for not adding occasionally to this thread.
Welding shop[which i used a couple years ago with a different bike]. Gerry the Giraffe made out of car bumpers on the roof.

Yeah, same thing really. The sign in my pic did have fabrication and welding on it so go for it with either or all of those. Too many specifics and I may be called for "delay of game"! HahahaOriginally posted by Blue Falcon View Postwill "metal fabricator" work.... for some reason...
