Would not take much to return it to "nice bike" status, but he should know that it's an '81, not an '80.

Who'd a thunk? I've been an avid CL lurker for years and never noticed that....I'm guessing that feature is (kinda?) new. Used to be that all clicking that would do would be to launch your email application ..... so never used it, as my personal email is all web based.

              Thanks for the tip!

                NO PhotoShop Skills ! ! !

OK, this just cracked me up.

This guy posted his bike for sale on Craigslist and didn?t want anyone to see his license plate number? so he did this:

That one's been discussed here before - maybe in a different thread, but we've kicked it around.

IIRC, there was much discussion about the reverse-mounted fork assembly being somewhat iffy in terms of handling.

Or maybe just stop being paranoid???

What's someone going to do? Track you down and kill you if you show a picture of your tag on craigslist?

Thousands of people have seen my cool blue antique tag on the road (blueplatespecial!) and so far none of them have found my house and tried to chop me into little pieces.

I fail to see how a picture on the internet is any different

Yeah I never understoo why people cover up something that you parade around with every day in public. Like what are people going to do??

                          The Busacar !!!

A couple thousand dollars worth of cool, maybe, but if it appraised for over $20k I'm guessing he thinks its a lot cooler than that.
