I suspect the output is very binary. If you plug that in the wall and there is power you'll know about it pretty quick.Comment

With all that weight removed it should be as fast as a "cafe racer" although to be a true "cafe" racer there should be a mug holder mounted somewhere....Comment

Holy crap; I wouldn't want to be riding behind that eyesore if it ever got up to 60mph. It would burst apart like a pricked balloon.Dave

Here's another 750. I've never seen a 16 valve L. Is this a rare find?

I have a GS750 bike for sale, It kinda just dropped in my lap so don't know to much about it other than the motor is not lock up on it. No key or title, BOS only.Roger

Not a bad price for a "seemingly" whole parts bike. I could use the engine, and would likely make him an offer if it wasn't so damn far away...'83 GS 1100T

Think they just did one model year then dropped it.Here's another 750. I've never seen a 16 valve L. Is this a rare find?

79 was the only year for an 8-valve 750L. The 16-valve 750L was imported into the US in both 80 and 81. They didn't offer it in 82, as I suspect the 650GL, 850GL, and 1100GL models filled the market need for their cruisers. I would not necessarily consider it rare.Tom Witt
