Knowing these old 1100's, she probably has another 150,000 miles in her.

      But no warranty.

15' (-10" C) got about 100 miles on my new ride! Thanks goodness for heated gear! This bike is BAD A$$! Swapped over to a thinner front and shorter rear... Power Commander is dialed in (re-flash)... Nuts... Lights and Legal!

Went out for a short ride today in the hopes of getting some time on the bike before the next rain storm. Unfortunately I got caught in a coupe of small showers but Suzie perfumed well. Stopped in Sunol to catch the steam train running.

After last nights garage party I was a little slow moving today....before dinner I took the 81 for a spin....looks like the carbs are finally sorted, went back to stock exhaust as well

Good stuff Trevor. Is it smoother now? What was the verdict, twisted crank?

                            Thanks Sandy,

It's smoother for sure...No, the crank is fine. I just think my 83 is so smooth that I'm spoiled by that. lol
This is the best it has ran since I bought it. It really is a nice bike to ride. I put sonic fork springs in...the bike is super tight for a 35 year old bike. And it's pretty quick too.

I should have never done this on a weekend. The line at Customs was huge and VERY slow moving.30 minutes delay at the border, 2 hours in line waiting for an agent, 30 minutes to get the paperwork sorted. Bike is now legally imported to the US, no problems other than the Speedo quit somewhere around Bellingham. Will try to post pics tomorrow.
