About a year and half ago my son suffered a pretty nasty “off”from his dirt bike, lots of road rash and evidently some underlying mental scarring as well. I haven’t pushed him. Apart from a very short ride to a local Bike Night event, he hasn’t ridden since. So yesterday as I was working on the GS, he asked me if we could go for a ride Sunday. How could I say anything but “absolutely”. Stator joined us very nice, if a bit chilly, afternoon Fall ride.

When I had my accident 5 years ago I never once thought about not getting back on a bike...not once. And thankfully my wife never said "I don't want you to ride anymore". She knows that would kill me...
When I did take my first ride after 3 months I was still on crutches....first thing I did was ride to the intersection that I was hit in and rode through it.
Maybe I'm just too dumb to have not had any feelings of not riding again...lolLast edited by trevor; Today, 11:34 AM.No signature :(
