    New bike in the garage

    I couldn't resist this 2006 Bandit 1200S .....84,000kms. (50,000 miles)
Guy around 70 owned for the last three years and hardly rode it...dropped it in his driveway and needed a neighbour to help him pick it up...needs a choke cable and rear brake pads. Runs good...needs a good cleaning. All original and unmolested.
$1250cdn...I guess there still are deals out there.

Nice score! Looks very clean. I always liked those and they sold heaps of them, no wonder, it's a great bike. That exhaust can is huge.

        Right place, right time.
        Great pick-up, Trevor.
What ever you do, don't look at the Dale Walker site. http://www.holeshot.com/suzuki/bandit/600-1200 don't look!

$1250! Super deal! I'd have trouble resisting that...even if it's not "my type" and "I should know better" etc.

Thanks guys, obviously don't need another bike...and my wife did look at me quite strangely when I showed up with it in the garage...but even she could see why I couldn't resist. lol...I still need to sell my other Cooley
Pics always make a bike look nicer than it is...
I emailed the guy when I saw the ad and he emailed back saying there were two guys in front of me and would let me know if either of them didn't buy it....then I got an email saying I was up! I said I'll be right there...I thought it must be pretty bad if two guys turned it down already...but the told me they never showed up...lol...my lucky day. I figure it's a $2500 bike pretty quickly here...my plan is to flip it...but it sure is a lot of good bike for $1250.....hmmm.

When it comes to Suzukis, more is always better.

Bandit 1200 is a fine ride, and would make a great foundation for a GS1200SS build. Just sayin'.

Trevor, my dad (rest his soul) would have said you're dipped in sh!t. I've found that has different meanings depending on where you're from. I just mean, you always seem to come up with great finds like this. Hope you keep it and enjoy it.

How do you even find these deals? That is an amazing price!

I'd like to hear the full story on the asking price...is there actually anything wrong with it?

What a great deal! The Bandit has been on my short list of desired bikes for a long time.
