Me to but I really like the "star" alloys. The first WW Kat I seen made me go woo that's different.Getting used to them but alloys look best IMHO.I respect what they are and get the cool factor.Originally posted by ptexotik View Postwell there ya go! ...I think they just look wrong.
Nice bike!!! and nice to see another '82 1100

Heck, maybe I'm twisted or something (the missus would agree but that's another story). To me the Kat still looks futuristic - even 30 years or so later. And the spokes are the opposite - old fashioned. It's that mix that does the extra bit for me.Originally posted by ptexotik View Postwell there ya go! ...I think they just look wrong.79 GS1000S

If the cellar is 53 degrees F that's me guilty as charged then. I bought a pint of OSH the other day that had been in the fridge - might just as well have bought lager....ugh!Originally posted by ptexotik View Postdrinking beer at cellar temp. now that's twisted amigo.

Well, it's not too many BOMs I really like to see be replaced (except maybe the last bozo selling a bike) but this one will really hurt - Glen, great looking original WW Kat!!Scott

Hi Scott, thanks for the kind words about the Kat. At least she has had her Time In The Sun, so it is all good.
