I think I'm having trouble finding this month's Bike of the Month. When I click on where it should be, all that comes up is a incomplete, pumpkin colored Katana, missing the seat, side covers, & the katana fairing. Also looks like they painted over a rusty exhaust can without removing the rust.... Or maybe it's just me.

Another Kat, in any form, that is back on the road and not parted out is a good thing.
      Good rescue, Mike.

When I die, just cremate me and put me in my GS tank. That way I can go through these carbs, one more time!https://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/core/images/smilies/cool.png

Me too. I was going to post a pic of it here, but meh. Not even a complete bike, and have no idea who Mike Farmer is.

82 1100 Kats are quite rare in North America as only Canada received a few hundred of them. And to rescue one from its previous abomination (including a chopped frame and sissy bar) is a great thing.
That Kat engine has the factory goodies that only 82 1000 and 1100s received. So while it may not be as pretty as a stock Kat, you're the one having a blast riding the snot out of it!
Farmer Mike, if you want to keep going and need any Kat parts, send me a pm.

                My lips are zipped!
But in defense of Bike of the Month. Maybe there wasn't enough top quality photos to choose from.
But yeah, I remember when if your background wasn't just right you got kicked out of consideration.
Thumbs up to this fellow. He nailed the background. He also got the motorcycle up and running and looking the way he likes it. 👍

I don't understand why I rarely see a bom that is an active member?
