It all seems so well done and thought out. I kind of feel bad about saying it just seems……wrong.Last edited by Rich82GS750TZ; 03-06-2022, 08:37 AM.Links

We're talking about Bike of the Month, right? I can't believe I didn't notice the 1100 engine in that 1000.

He doesn't mention an extended swing arm, but doesn't that drive chain look extremely long? I'm not sure I like the 'fat' look of the tires, either. And why are the cylinders silver and the heads black? Is part of the engine '82 and part '83?Last edited by Rob S.; 03-06-2022, 05:35 AM.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

 The swingarm is GSXR1100.
The motor is satin black with gloss black powdercoat on the clutch, stator, ignition covers.
The cylinders have been vapor blasted. (I like the contrast).
Yes it is an 1100 motor. I built the bike primarily to use up stuff I had in the garage.

Epic cycle. The only thing I would change is the level in the fuel tank. Often...sigpic
