    Forgot to mention one tiny mod.

    16 V eng on a "79" GS1000 E, but he did get most of the other stuff. Seems to be a tastefully done custom...Congrats.

    It all seems so well done and thought out. I kind of feel bad about saying it just seems……wrong.

      We're talking about Bike of the Month, right? I can't believe I didn't notice the 1100 engine in that 1000.

      He doesn't mention an extended swing arm, but doesn't that drive chain look extremely long? I'm not sure I like the 'fat' look of the tires, either. And why are the cylinders silver and the heads black? Is part of the engine '82 and part '83?

          The swingarm is GSXR1100.
          The motor is satin black with gloss black powdercoat on the clutch, stator, ignition covers.
          The cylinders have been vapor blasted. (I like the contrast).
          Yes it is an 1100 motor. I built the bike primarily to use up stuff I had in the garage.

              Congrats Gary, looks like you came up with a pretty neat & eye catching way to use up old parts just laying around collecting dust.
