Yeah Dave, replaced the bars with some with less curve in them. Have to say best $14 i spent! Also the helmet is new, but I got it because it reminded me of the one my dad had back in 79. His was orange/gold metal flake though haha.Comment

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.Comment

I wore those Bells for a couple of decades. They were great. I hated to move to the full-face because the 3/4s were so much easier to put on/remove, and I did not feel so enclosed. I would get a flat face shield for it, though.Comment

A 425 was my first GS and what started the madness. Mine wasn't an L and I wish I had it back.
That bike isn't slow by any means. I think the motor was supposed to make about 38-40 horsepower. Pretty decent ride as well. I remember the fact that it was light made it seem like a rocket.
Enjoy and throw a couple more pics up for us if you will.GS Score Card

My first bike was a 425E, I loved it too and wish I still had it. I just cringe when I see people put their helmets on the seat like that, too easy for it to fall and get damaged, not just cosmetically, but in a way that will compromise it protecting your noggin.Comment
