    2024 Vintage days

I have a thought about next year's vintage motorcycle days at Mid-Ohio.
What if there could be a small GSR rally or hang-out in the camping area?

I went there a few years ago, it's always near my wife's birthday. I would have to bring at least one car to haul our camper, but it's great fun even for the kids.

I'm definitely setting some vacation days aside for it next year.

Where and when? Central Ohio is now w/in reach for me. Not on my GS, not yet, anyway. But this sounds like fun.

Near Lexington,OH at Mid-Ohio sports car course.

The weekend after the first full week of July usually.

My wife and I camped and had an absolute blast, something about waking up to vintage dirtbikes and enduros 4 yards from camp relaxes me. We were there when the featured brand was Suzuki and Wes Cooley rode on the track back in 2016.

        Been way too long.

It's quite an event. It's been awhile since I went but hope to go again. Last time I was there my friend and I did several megadeth songs on acoustic guitars and gathered a small audience one evening. I also got to ride my old gs a few times around the track.

I'm trying to plan for it. Just not sure if I'm going west, east or? this year. Sounds like the old days at BIR in Brainerd Mn before the fun police took over.
