    Morning folks,

I won’t be making it to Brown County this year.

A work-related injury ended up being more serious than I first thought. I’ve got medical appointments and procedures lined up next week, and I’m just not in the shape I need to be to ride out in two weeks for a two-week trip.

It’s a hard call to make, I was really looking forward to this and seeing you all. But right now, I’ve got to focus on recovery.

    Hopefully next year.

That’s a bummer, Justin. Take care of yourself.

Love to see you guys, but unfortunately it's about 1,000 miles from my dooryard in Vermont to Bedford. I’ve got appointments next Thursday and Friday related to this work-related medical condition, and since it’s a workers’ comp case, I can’t skip out on them.

That said, I haven’t scrapped the whole trip. I’ll be in the Burlington, KY area around the 24th–25th, and I still plan to ride through the Hoosier National Forest before heading to Illinois for a few days.

The doctors are still dialing in my meds, but the current ones are helping — I’m finally able to keep water down (and in me). I’m planning a local dry run tomorrow: about 400–500 miles round trip down to Pomfret, CT and back. Last weekend I could barely make 200 before things went sideways, but I’m hopeful this time. Worst case, I turn around.

          Cheers!

Hang in there Jedzster, and listen to your doctor!

Has anyone done any scouting in southern Indiana? With all the rain, I wonder if there is any flooded roads?

Rich and I will be pulling in Thursday afternoon with truck, trailer and motorcycles.
However, I'm not sure what cycle to bring? Should I go sensible or hooligan?

I don't know Larr. It would be like taking a 10 year old to the grocery store and telling them NO you can't have it!
                  Loud and whiny!!! Haha
