      I remember that the review from the 1970s show said they played just like on the record, as if that was supposed to be a negative. It’s just that they were that good as musicians.

        They sure were....does a band exist today with that kind of talent? I mean these guys all played multiple instruments and sang.

          Yes talent exists everywhere. Stop deifying once successful acts and products of random chances and marketing.
          go to a club venue Vancouver should be rife with them. And stop equating money with musicianship.

            Did you not see my response to Ddep in the Buffett thread....I don't "equate money with musicianship".....of course there is talent out there...but what becomes successful today seems to be mostly about image....for example....do you think Janis Joplin would have been successful in todays image driven world? Not likely
