I'll post an "lol" to indicate I recognize the humor/sarcasm.

As for what the sports media/news says about guessing who's gonna win a series, I don't pay attention to that.

Back to discussing the HR from Ohtani.

There's still a game to finish playing...that's why they play 9 innings.

The defense is still trying to prevent the offense from scoring--for both teams.

Any scoring can be celebrated in the face of a great deficit or increasing a lead.

It's a best-of-seven series which means both teams will make their adjustments and move forward.

G2 is tonight and it's Yamamoto's turn to challenge the Blue Jays lineup.

I watch the Cleveland Guardians (Indians) in September. And what a September they had this year! Coming back from 19 games back.

I do listen to Cleveland baseball games on the AM radio during the summer now and then. Announcer Tom Hamilton is the best.

I'm still in Y-town Ohio! I haven't been to Maryland for a few years.
I kind of lost contact with Cheryl. Last I heard she was doing well.

Not me .... I'm treating every victory like it's VE day ......Mostly because I don't think we will win the series ..... But and it's a big but, if we can get to the Dodgers bullpen early I do think we have a shot .....

Then there was Isoroku Yamamoto, commander of Japan's Imperial fleet in WWII.

Anyway, regarding the game, that was quite the 6th inning, and I missed it, the only time I was away from the game. I figure that if one team can score 9 runs in one inning, so can the other - anything can happen in baseball.
