Not worried in the least bit. This team has proved people wrong time after time...it's destiny.
Fun fact...the Jays finished dead last in their division last year and this year they are man handling the defending World Series champions. Could it be any better?

This is why Yesavage will only make $57,204 this season, instead of the $760,000 listed on Spotrac. He will only receive the portion of the $760,000 equal to the percentage of the regular season he spent with the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays selected him to play in the regular season on September 15th. Yesavage pitched games on September 15th, 21st, and 27th.
How Much Will Trey Yesavage Be Paid if the Blue Jays Win the World Series?

Each player on the World Series-winning team will receive a bonus. Every MLB team that makes the playoffs will receive a cut from this pool. The pool is made up of 60 percent of all ticket sales from the postseason games.

According to Investopedia, 36 percent of that pool goes to the World Series winner, with the runner-up receiving 24 percent. Last year, the Dodgers’ payout was $477,441 per share. The payout has ranged from $368,872 to $516,347.

So if the Blue Jays win the World Series, Yesavage could be paid anywhere from $350,000 to over $500,000.
How Much Money Will He Make Next Year?

Yesavage is under contract with the Blue Jays through the 2030 season.

In 2024, after the team signed him, he received a $4,175,000 bonus, as per Spotrac. His salary in 2026 will be $820,000.

The Dodgers are the students who expect an A just for showing up.
The Blue Jays are the ones who actually study, earn it, and still stay humble. It's not an accident that they are winning.

Wanna bet ? ...... No way the Jays are going to risk losing a 22 year old superstar in 5 years ..... Not to mention they want him to have an incentive to stay . The contract will be renegotiated and extended ...... Some big numbers will be flying around ...... I don't know how big they'll be but Gausman makes $18.9 million per year .....

It's been a long day, Trevor. lol

I took today/tomorrow off work...wife went to concert with youngest daughter in DC tonight and the eldest happens to live an hour from the venue in Maryland (MD).

So, wife and youngest are spending the night in MD after the concert and then drive back to Northern Delaware where I will drive up from Dover to pick wife up.

                Whew! Got all that?

As for the game last night, Snell got schooled for the second time by the Blue Jays...and Dodgers offense was not engaged.

Yesavage made only one mistake with Kiki Hernandez but the rest of the team could not hit the ball.

It was tough to watch inning by inning since the Jays were threatening every inning vs the Dodgers going out in order.

Hopefully, Yamamoto can have a repeat performance...or at least force a G7.

But like Norm said, it will be tough for the Dodgers to win 2 in-a-row in Toronto.

Fingers crossed they win Friday Night!

Nothing to lose...we weren't supposed to be here....now the baseball world has finally woke to the fact that the Toronto Blue Jays are the best team in baseball and deserve respect.

The expectations are high for Yamamoto tonight...the weight of the team is on his shoulders.

He's no stranger to the pressures considering he's played in big arenas in Japan.

Same pitchers face each other for the second time this series.

Dodger hitters had better luck facing Gausman so that will be tested again tonight.

                              Good Luck to both teams.

                              Go Dodgers!!!
