What's old is new again? No, still old haha.

Doing vehicle swap due to a lame one needing repairs, so my son's riding the GS to college and I'm driving his '19 Corolla XSE 6 speed (not bad, not bad at all...).

He sent me a pic, brought back memories. I was commuting to college in the late 80s, almost 40 years ago, on a GS1100E. One of his teachers saw it and told him about his old Guzzi LeMans and 850 Commando - good taste in bikes!

I think it's a safe bet junior gets an A in that course.
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.
